MicroFlow

The MicroFlow radar flowmeter, manufactured by Pulsar, United Kingdom, is suitable for all open channels ranging from 10 centimeters to 1.5 meters in width. The non-contact MicroFlow radar flowmeter continuously measures the fluid’s level and velocity without contact. Finally, instant flow rate, total flow, and flow velocity are displayed on the monitoring screen. MicroFlow provides a non-contact flow measurement solution suitable for open channels. This flowmeter can be used as a standalone product for simple flow velocity measurements. Additionally, when combined with the dB Transducers series converters, it serves as a complete area flow velocity measurement system.
The use of MicroFlow facilitates calculations and statistics at a low cost, making it ideal for hydraulic systems that sometimes restrict access within the channel. It is worth noting that AbSanj Mehr is the exclusive official representative of Pulsar in Iran and has successfully installed and commissioned numerous units of this flowmeter.

The sensor of this radar flowmeter utilizes Band-K radar technology and employs short microwave pulses with exclusive analysis software. It is suitable for flow measurement in channels up to 3 meters wide. In the case of wider channels, multiple sensors can be used simultaneously or in parallel.
Highly cost-effective compared to other European brands.
Easy installation and commissioning.
Almost maintenance-free.
Outputs include current and Modbus.

For channels with a width smaller than 1.5 meters, MicroFlow, in combination with the flow converter dB MACH3 (or other models of dB Transducers) and the FlowCERT controller, can provide highly accurate readings of the surface velocity.
In the case of broader channels such as rivers or wastewater flow channels with a width exceeding 1.5 meters, utilizing multiple MicroFlow devices allows for precise intermediate measurements across the entire river. By using dB Transducers series converters and a controller for velocity sensing of the surface and flow in systems with various average speeds throughout the channel, it ensures accurate performance in challenging conditions.
