Flow Pulse

Pulsar Measurement’s FlowPulse is a non-intrusive clamp-on flow sensor designed for pipe flow monitoring. It effortlessly adheres to the exterior of the pipe and secures tightly with a screwdriver. Leveraging Doppler technology, this sensor is particularly suitable for applications demanding flow measurements in viscous or challenging fluids.
The FlowPulse clamp-on flow sensor directs ultrasonic waves through various wall materials of the pipe, refracting at angles along the flow axis, and reflects off bubbles, particles, and eddies in all directions. The frequency shift is then displayed as the flow measurement. FlowPulse brings significant cost savings compared to other flow meters as it eliminates the need for pipe cutting, involvement of civil engineers, or service interruptions.
The digital platform employed in the FlowPulse clamp-on sensor ensures robust performance in measurement repeatability and provides excellent flexibility to adapt to operational requirements. FlowPulse features such as sensitivity and response time can be easily tailored to individual customization needs.
