The db3-ultimate flowmeter is a high-precision flow measurement sensor designed for open water channels. With unique features such as solar shielding and submersion resistance, the db3 is specifically engineered for accurate flow measurement in open water channels.

In ultrasonic measurements, distance accuracy is a crucial factor, and by minimizing the distance, greater accuracy is achieved. The db3 is the first ultrasonic sensor to ensure a zero distance, meaning it can be positioned in extremely close proximity to the flow surface, even down to a few millimeters.

Operating at a frequency of 125 kilohertz, this sensor provides high resolution and accuracy, essential for flow measurements in open water channels.

The db3-ultimate flowmeter can be used in conjunction with Ultra 4, 5, and TWIN devices for open water channel flow, or it can be paired with the FlowCERT device. All these devices offer an approximate accuracy of +/- 1 millimeter (0.039 inches).
