AVFM 6.1

The AVFM 6.1 flowmeter utilizes the widely adopted Area Velocity Flow Measurement method, employing a submerged ultrasonic sensor. This sensor accurately measures both the liquid flow’s level and velocity to calculate flow rates in open channels or pipes.
These sensors can be installed either within a pipe or at the bottom of a channel, showcasing resilience against sedimentation, corrosion, and wear.
The AVFM 6.1 flowmeter can be enhanced with a dual-purpose submerged velocity-level sensor or with a velocity-only submerged sensor, integrating a non-contact ultrasonic sensor. This flexibility makes it suitable for fluids with high aeration or those containing elevated concentrations of suspended solids.

– This device is suitable for various types of channels, including rectangular, trapezoidal, egg-shaped, or partially filled pipes, without the need for hydraulic structures (partial flumes, weirs, V-notch, etc.).

– Installation of the ultrasonic velocity and level sensor in the channel bottom (contact) in the fixed model, where the height sensor can optionally be installed above the channel.

– Display of momentary flow, cumulative flow, and recording of information in the internal data logger system with USB output.

– The fixed type has three isolated 4-20 mA outputs related to flow, level, and velocity, and two relay outputs. The portable model has one isolated 4-20 mA output.

– Simple and easy setup through the keypad and password-protected user interface.
