OCF 6.1

The OCF 6.1 is a non-contact ultrasonic open-channel flowmeter that functions as a tank level sensor, providing an excellent solution for no-contact flow measurement and level monitoring. This open-channel flowmeter can continuously monitor, display, collect, and record flow through any flume or weir. The provided ultrasonic sensor, along with the OCF 6.1, is installed just 203.2 mm (8 inches) above the flowing water, offering an accuracy of +/- 0.25%.

This device for non-contact open-channel flow measurement includes an internal 26-million-point data logger and flow reporting system. Isolated 4-20 mA outputs are available for transmitting flow to recorders or remote displays, and programmable control relays are present for level/flow alerts and proportional flow pulses (for samplers, chlorinators, or remote totalizers).

The OCF 6.1 is used in open-channel flow mode for non-intrusive flow measurement, irrigation flow monitoring, industrial flow monitoring, and influent and effluent flow. For precise tank level measurement, simply install the ultrasonic sensor above it, and place the separate waterproof electronic/display housing in a suitable location within 152.4 meters (500 feet) of the installed sensor. An optional inherent safety barrier is available for sensor and cable installations in hazardous-rated locations. Achieve accurate and reliable level measurement, inventory control, and silo measurement without the need for process interruption or shutdown.
