Ultra 4 is an advanced, highly practical controller for level, flow, volume, and pump control. Holding a Class 1 MCERTS certificate, Ultra 4 provides open channel flow measurement for stormwater overflow and monitors event duration.
Its versatile display allows viewing trend graphs on-screen, providing insights into level changes over time.
When combined with dB3 transducers featuring dual sunshields, Ultra 4 achieves a Class 1 MCERTS certificate with a combined accuracy of 0.193%, indicating rigorous testing and adherence to high standards.
This means wastewater processes worldwide can adhere to a common standard in their flow applications, providing real-time flow data in storm tanks, inflows, and event duration monitoring.
In addition to Ultra 4’s open channel flow features, this unit offers sophisticated level control, including internal volume calculations based on standard tank shapes and advanced pump control functions.
Ultra 4 can be programmed via its built-in keypad (standard on all wall-mounted and fascia units) through an SD card slot or by a PC via an RJ11 serial interface. All parameters are stored in non-volatile memory and retained in case of power loss.
A secondary backup of all parameters can also be maintained in Ultra 4’s memory, in case an additional set of parameters needs to be stored.
Digital Adaptive Echo Mapping (DATEM)
The Ultra 4 system utilizes the unique DATEM software, a proven digital mapping technique developed specifically for Pulsar Measurement’s Ultra controller range. This gives the system unparalleled capability in identifying the actual target level when faced with competing signals from pipes, pumps, or other obstacles. Coupled with the powerful capabilities and extended range of the dB transducer, Ultra 4 continues its reputation as the most reliable available level measurement system.
This device can be wall-mounted or fascia-mounted, it also includes Profibus digital communication options and an internal Micro SD card provides the possibility of longer data recording.
